The Joondalup Autumn Classic Run-Swim-Run event will take place on on Monday 02 March 2026 at Mullaloo Beach.

This classic Run-Swim-Run event format is suitable for all age groups including both junior and novices distances.  The 2026 the Joondalup Autumn Classic is a WA State Championship event for :

• Long – Open, Age Group (20+), 16-19Yrs

• Junior Bolt – 12-13Yrs and  14-15Yrs

For seniors it is also an Age Group WT World Championship Qualifying race. over the standard distance of 2.5km Run - 1km Swim - 2.5km Run.

In the multisports industry the Run-Swim-Run format is often referred to as an Aquathlon which can vary in sequence and distance.

• This event will continue to feature the Schools Aquathlon Championships where students will battle it out to become the overall champions!!!

• There will also be a trophy up for grabs as part of the Clubs Aquathlon Championship Challenge where Triathlon and Surf Life Saving Clubs will fight it out to be crowned the overall JA Classic Aquathlon Club Champions.
