Course Maps and Information

The run course consists of two out and back run loops made up of three distance segments from Mullaloo Beach heading South and back and then North and back.

Both loops hug our beautiful coastline, presenting a scenic run with ample supporter access points. water and toilet facilities.

  • Urban Coast Ultra 64km  - Mullaloo (Start) - City Beach - Mullaloo - Mindarie - Mullaloo (Finish)

  • Urban Coast Ultra 64km Teams - for Teams of 2 or 3 athletes

    • Leg 1   (18.5km)   Mullaloo (Start) - City Beach

    • Leg 2   (18.5km)   City Beach - Mullaloo

    • Leg 3  (27km)   Mullaloo- Mindarie - Mullaloo (Finish)

  • Urban Coast Roller 27km (Leg 3) - individual athletes

 

The initial loop South heads all the way to City Beach and returns along the same route with an overall total distance of approximately 37km (Leg 1 of 18.5km and Leg 2 of 18.5km).  The final loop North heads all the way from Mullaloo to Mindarie along the coastal path with a short loop and return from Mindarie along the same route  (Leg 3 of 27km).

The Southern loop is mostly flat with mild undulations with just a few steep short gradients. The Northern loop presents a very undulating loop, while not all steep, some will challenge and this includes a stiff 400m climb on the Burns Beach to Mindarie segment.   The final leg will test the legs of the strongest!   Once you hit the top of the Mullaloo lookout on your return it's all downhill, flat and home to the Finish.
